PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This transparent high-strength surface coating from the servFaces line is a diverse and unique quality product for a variety of smooth mineral surfaces, such as granite, marble, ceramic surfaces in sanitary areas, tiling and much more. It offers optimum protection for most diverse areas of application.

All-round talent for surface optimization

The highly-transparent coating forms a long-acting, scratch and dirt resistant protective film with minimum consumption. Hard-coated layers are suited especially to large-scale areas of application due to the low material consumption. Therefore, damage caused by resins, acids, salts, weather and mechanical impacts have no chance. Our high-strength hard-coated layer is also extremely resistant to temperatures up to +890°.

Food safety

After curing, the coated surface does not pose any health risk and is allowed to get into contact with food.

The coated surface has therefore no harmful effects on health after curing. It can come in contact with food without any concerns. It is confirmed by a certificate issued by CBA GmbH, issued on May 15, 2018. The complete certificate can be found in our shop under the tab Data sheets.

APPLICATION

The area to be treated must be dry and free from grease. The product can be applied on smooth surfaces with our applicator. You can remove excess product with a microfiber cloth after a short reaction time of approx. 1 - 2 minutes. It is also optimal for use by fine spraying and rolling. To achieve the best results, the ambient temperature should be within the range of +10 °C to +35 °C.

After 120 minutes the product is dust-dry. Tile Coating fully cures after approx. 6 - 8 days (depending on the temperature and air humidity). After curing, the coating is resistant to acids, alkaline solutions and solvents (pH 2 - 13).

Caution: Do not apply the product in direct sunlight and do not let it dry!

Tile Coating guarantees the following properties with a film thickness of 3 - 5 micrometers (the film thickness depends on the application procedure):

Hydrophobicity of clean, bright, polished or painted surfaces (the surface must be free of silicone or grease. Suitable cleaning agents are servFaces Cleaner Ultima & Neutra)
Optimizes the surface hardness of the coated substrate
The coating has "self-healing" effects due to the unique manufacturing formulation (organic / inorganic components). No other coating system has this thermoelastic flow property.
Even surfaces exposed to continuous stress of up to +890 °C can be successfully sealed due to the high content of inorganic matter.

The lifetime is 2 - 10 years always according to the substrate, surface stress and layer thickness.

TO CONSIDER

Emulsions and coating products need a certain period of time to bind to the surface and fully cure after application. Therefore, please check the curing time of individual products. Only this can guarantee that the product provides the desired benefits. Direct exposure of the surface to water or cleaning agents after application can considerably reduce the product's properties.

GENERAL PRODUCT NOTE

Factors such as preliminary cleaning, application temperature, curing time, etc., can influence the product's effectiveness and lifetime. Therefore, fluctuations of product properties cannot be excluded.
