PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This transparent, high-strength surface coating is a versatile, high-quality product designed for untreated, natural glossy and matte plastic surfaces.
PSR technology is based on polymer-SiO₂ resin technology. Upon curing, it forms a durable, highly flexible, dirt-resistant, and easy-to-clean protective layer. It offers long-term protection for plastic surfaces against environmental influences, preserves their original appearance, and reduces dirt adhesion. Even with thicker application layers, the material retains its elasticity, effectively preventing cracking or flaking under stress.
APPLICATION
Manual Application
- Clean the surface with Surface Cleaner Ultima, then neutralize using Surface Cleaner Neutra.
- Wrap an application towel around the applicator block.
- Apply 15–20 drops of Plastic Coat onto the application towel and spread it rapidly across the surface (a visible film must form). Work in small sections 50 × 50 cm
- Allow the product to cure for approx. 1–3 minutes. (This depends on application quantity, humidity, and ambient temperature). The longer the product reacts on the surface, the thicker the coating layer, protective effect, and hydrophobic properties will be.
- Wipe off excess residue using the first Special Coating Towel (start with the edges, then work from the outside in using straight, rapid motions).
- Take a second, fresh Special Coating Towel and buff the surface (start with the edges, then work from the outside in using circular motions without applying heavy pressure).
- If streaking remains visible, use another fresh Special Coating Towel and repeat the process until streak-free. (Inspect using a light source).
- Re-coating with Plastic Coat: Possible after 20 minutes. Do not wait longer than 35 minutes!
Fine Spray Method:
The airbrush or fine spray method must exclusively be used on slightly glossy surfaces. The following parameters apply:
- Use an airbrush gun with a 0.3 mm (maximum 0.4 mm) nozzle.
- Use 100% clean, dry, and oil-free compressed air only.
- If using a compressor, a refrigerated dryer and oil separator are strictly required.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during the entire process.
- Contaminants in compressed air can cause a premature reaction, resulting in a matte, rough surface finish.
- Do not apply in direct sunlight.
Nozzle specifications, compressed air quality, refrigeration dryer, oil separator, and PPE requirements match the fine spray guidelines.
Important: Very matte plastic surfaces must be coated manually using an applicator block and towel to preserve the matte finish as effectively as possible.

Note after use:
Surfaces treated with protective coatings should generally be cleaned as gently as possible to avoid damaging or removing the product layer. Avoid harsh cleaning detergents with high pH levels or heavy solvent content. We recommend using a pHneutral car shampoo.

DURABILITY
A single layer of Plastic Coat offers a durability of approx. 24–36 months. Each additional layer increases durability by an additional 8–9 months. To achieve extended protection, you can spray the product on using the fine spray method and allow it to dry, achieving a dry film thickness of approx. 3–5 μm. Ensure excess product does not pool and cure in corners and edges, as this can leave white residues.n.
TO CONSIDER
Emulsions and coating products need a certain period of time to bind to the surface and fully cure after application. Therefore, please check the curing time of individual products. Only this can guarantee that the product provides the desired benefits. Direct exposure of the surface to water or cleaning agents after application can significantly reduce the performance of the product properties.
