PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Hydro Ceramic Rim Coat 547 is a hybrid ceramic coating for fast and efficient wheel rim protection. The product ensures high protective function for painted and unpainted wheel surfaces while simultaneously delivering impressive gloss enhancement.
The highly transparent coating forms a dirt-resistant and easy-to-clean protective layer even with minimal application. Hydro Ceramic Rim Coat 547 is additionally heat-resistant up to 350°C.
Hydro Ceramic Rim Coat 547 is highly flexible at coating thicknesses up to 8 µm and therefore will neither crack nor chip.
APPLICATION
- Clean and neutralize surface with Surface Cleaner Ultima and Surface Cleaner Neutra
- Place the application cloth over the applicator, or alternatively use the Premium Applicator Sponge. • Apply 15–20 drops of Hydro Ceramic Rim Coat 547 onto the application cloth and and spread it quickly across the surface. A visible film must be formed.
- Allow the product to cure for about 1–5 minutes! (This time depends on the amount applied, humidity, and ambient temperature.) The longer the product is allowed to react with the paint, the greater the film build-up, the protective effect, and the hydrophobic effect. To ensure a sufficient curing time, apply enough product so that it does not dry too quickly.
- Remove surplus material with the first Special Coating Towel (in peripheral areas first, then work from the outside In with straight quick movements).
- Take another fresh Special Coating Towel and polish the surface with a little pressure (in peripheral areas at first, then from the outside in with circular movements)
- If streaks are still visible, use another clean, fresh Special Coating Towel and repeat the process until the streaks are no longer visible. Check using a light source.
- Recoating with Hydro Ceramic Rim Coat 547 is possible after 25 minutes. Do not wait longer than 60 minutes!
NOTES
Caution: Permanent and aggressive mechanical cleaning, such as in automated car washes, compromises coating durability, as the strong abrasive action of brushes gradually wears away and scratches the product!!

DURABILITY
Hydro Ceramic Rim Coat 547 provides protection for up to 18 months. To extend its durability, you can apply an additional layer after 25–60 minutes.
TO CONSIDER
Emulsions and coating products need a certain period of time to bind to the surface and fully cure after application. Therefore, please check the curing time of individual products. Only this can guarantee that the product provides the desired benefits. Direct exposure of the surface to water or cleaning agents after application can significantly reduce the performance of the product properties. Note after use: Surfaces treated with coating products should always be cleaned as gently as possible to avoid damaging or removing the product. Avoid using strong cleaning agents with high pH values or high solvent content. We therefore recommend cleaning with a pH-neutral wheel cleaner.
