PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
servFaces PPF & Film Application GEL is a concentrate for preparing an application fluid / slip solution and was specially developed to significantly simplify the application of paint protection films. This transparent, medium-viscosity gel is characterized by its gel-like yet highly sprayable consistency, which allows for easy application using spray bottles and various spray devices.
The formula of servFace PPF & Film Application GEL is optimized so that it does not affect the color or chemical properties of the adhesives in the films being applied. The gel ensures optimal moistening of the substrate, which allows the films to be repositioned during application and significantly simplifies the entire process.
The servFaces PPF & Film Application GEL can be easily removed without leaving any residue, even after it has dried, ensuring clean and efficient application.
APPLICATION
Mix the servFaces PPF & Film Application GEL in a ratio of 1:2 to 1:5 with demineralized water. Spray the slip solution evenly onto the surface until it is completely saturated. To make the film easier to handle, we recommend applying the gel to the adhesive side of the film as well. Then position the film in the desired area and apply a small amount of gel to the back of the film to create a lubricating film that makes it easier to smooth out the gel. Alternatively, you can also use the servFaces PPF & Film Application Fluid for this purpose.
Please note that paint protection films (PPF) require some time to develop their full adhesive strength and for the water contained in the gel to dry completely beneath the film. When tucking the edges, the product must be rinsed with a tack solution (demineralized water / optionally with 3–5% isopropanol).
Warning: Do not use on hot surfaces!
Dilution:
Mix servFaces PPF & Film Application GEL with demineralized water in a ratio of 1:2 to 1:5 to prepare the ready-to-use installation fluid / slip solution.
