Multi-Talent for Surface Optimisation
The highly transparent coating forms a long acting, scratch and dirt resistant and easy-to-clean protective layer with the minimum amount of product. The product, once in its final cured state, is resistant against acids, salt water, weathering, resins and mechanical stress. Yacht Coatings are strong, hard and extremely heat-resistant up to +1800°C. Thus, the fire properties of the treated surface are not affected.

APPLICATION
The area to be treated must be clean, dry and free of grease. To do so, use 99 % n-butyl acetate in the first pass and then neutralize the surface with servFaces Surface Cleaner Neutra. The product can be applied on smooth surfaces with our applicator. You can remove any excess product with a microfiber cloth after a short reaction time of approx. 1 - 2 minutes. Ideal also for fine-spraypattern applications. The product can be applied by spraying or rolling on rough and absorptive substrates. To achieve the best results, the ambient temperature should be within the range +10 °C - +35 °C . After 120 minutes the product is dust-dry. The product fully cures after approx. 6 - 8 days (depending on the temperature and air humidity). After curing, the coating is resistant to acids, bases and solvents (pH 2 - 13).
Important:
- Gelcoat moisture: 20 to 30 % (over 30 % moisture should not be coated)
- Gelcoats must be treated with 2 to 3 layers to achieve permanent protection
- Air humidity should be between 30 and 70 % - below 30 %, it does not dry and above 70 % it dries too quickly
- Protect the surface after the treatment for at least 18 hours from dirt and moisture.
- Full curing time at ambient temperature: approx. 6 to 8 days
- Curing time can be shortened by approx. 2 - 3 days using additional drying.
- Application temperature: +10 °C to +35 °C
- Consumption: smooth surfaces 3 to 8 ml/m² – absorptive/open-pore surfaces (Gelcoat) 5 to 9ml/m²
- The surface must not be exposed to any abrasion during curing!
- Recoating with Yacht Coatings: possible after 20 minutes. Wait no longer than 35 minutes!

Yacht Coatings have the following properties with a film thickness of 3 to 5 micrometers. (film thickness depends on the application procedure)
- Water-repellency of clean, empty, polished or painted surfaces. (The surface must be free of silicone and grease. Suitable cleaning agents are servFaces Cleaner Ultima & Neutra)
- Optimizing of the coated substrate's surface hardness.
- The coating has "self-healing" effects due to the unique manufacturing formulation (organic / inorganic components). No other coating system has these thermoelastic flow properties.
- Even parts exposed to a continuous stress of up to 1090 °C can be successfully sealed thanks to the high proportion of inorganic matter (standard formulation).

The lifetime is 2 to 10 years, always according to the substrate, surface stress and film thickness
TO CONSIDER
Emulsions and coating products need a certain period of time to bind to the surface and fully cure. Therefore, please check the curing time of individual products. Only this can guarantee that the product provides the desired benefits. Direct exposure of the surface to water or cleaning agents after application can significantly reduce the performance of the product properties.
GENERAL PRODUCT NOTE
Factors such as the type of coating system, paint condition, product processing (preliminary cleaning, application temperature, curing time), etc., can influence the product's effectiveness and lifetime. Therefore, fluctuations of product properties cannot be excluded.
