servFaces Aero Coating technology is suitable for many types of aircraft surfaces. The transparent and highly resistant surface coating from the servFaces product range is a diverse and unique quality product. Aero Coatings provides optimum protection for a wide range of surfaces.
Multi-Talent for Surface Optimisation
The highly transparent coating forms a long acting, scratch and dirt resistant and easy-to-clean protective layer with the minimum amount of product. The product, once in its final cured state, is resistant against acids, salt water, weathering, resins and mechanical stress. Aero Coatings are strong, hard and extremely heat-resistant up to +1090 °C. Thus, the fire properties of the treated surface are not affected.

APPLICATION
Clean the area to be treated and remove any grease. The product can be applied on smooth surfaces with our applicator. After a short reaction time of approx. 1 - 2 minutes, remove or polish any excess product residues with a microfiber cloth. Aero Coating is also ideal for fine spraying application. The product can be applied by spraying or rolling on rough and absorptive substrates. To achieve the best results, the ambient temperature should be within a range of +10 °C - +35 °C. The coating is dust-dry after 120 minutes.
The product is fully cured after approx. 6 - 8 days (depending on the temperature and air humidity). After curing, the coating is resistant to acids, alkaline solutions and solvents (pH 2 - 13).
Important:
- Protect the surface after treatment for at least 18 - 24 hours from dirt and moisture.
- Curing time can be shortened by approx. 2 - 3 days using separate drying.
- Air humidity must be within the range of 30 % to 80 %
- Consumption: smooth surfaces 3 - 8 ml / m2 absorptive/open-pored surfaces (absorbent 1-layer paints) 5 - 7 ml / m²
- The surface must not be exposed to any abrasion during curing!

Aero Coating guarantees the following properties with a film thickness of 3 - 5 micrometers (the film thickness depends on the application procedure):
- Water-repellency of clean, uncoated, polished or painted surfaces. (The surface must be free of silicone and grease. Suitable cleaning agents are servFaces Cleaner Ultima & Neutra)
- Optimizing of the coated substrate's surface hardness.
- The coating has "self-healing" effects due to the unique manufacturing formulation (organic / inorganic components). No other coating system has these thermoelastic flow properties.
- Even parts exposed to a continuous stress of up to 1,050°C can be successfully sealed due to the high proportion of inorganic matter. This list is only a brief performance description.

Emulsionen und Beschichtungsprodukte benötigen nach dem Auftragen eine gewisse Zeit, um sich mit der Oberfläche zu verbinden und vollständig auszuhärten. Bitte beachten Sie daher unbedingt die Aushärtezeiten der einzelnen Produkte. Nur so kann gewährleistet werden, dass das Produkt die gewünschte Wirkung erzielt. Wird die Oberfläche direkt nach dem Auftrag durch den Einsatz von z. B. Wasser oder Reinigungsmitteln beansprucht, kann es zu einer deutlichen Verminderung der Leistung der Produkteigenschaft kommen.
GENERAL PRODUCT NOTE
Emulsions and coating products need a certain period of time to bind to the surface and fully cure after application. Therefore, please check the curing time of individual products. Only this can guarantee that the product provides the desired benefits. Direct exposure of the surface to water or cleaning agents after application can significantly reduce the performance of the product properties.
